I bet you didn't know that my brother Joe is so incredibly special that we celebrate his birthday for 5 whole days.
You may ask yourself a few questions such as:
"What warrants such a long celebration on a yearly basis?" or "Do all of the Angel kids have this luxury when it comes to celebrating the day of their birth?" or quite possibly "Does Joe like this attention?"
Since Joe rarely lets me capture him on film, this is one of the most recent photos!
The answers to your many questions:
Well, we do think Joe is pretty darn special! However, it has to do with paperwork that was filed with the wrong birthdate on it. And it has always been a tradition to "celebrate" Joe's birthday week beginning on the 1st of every July and then capping the party on the 6th. When he was little we even had him convinced that the fireworks on the 4th were in honor of his week!
No. Joe is the only Angel kid with a birthday honor that lasts for more than 24 hours. And yes, Joe revels in this attention, even if he won't admit it! He also reminds us every chance he gets that it is his birthday so that he can't work too hard.
