I just got this CD ~ no, I have not graduated to the world of iPods, MP3s or anything else of that nature~ Monday night and I ♥ it. I had heard of this group through perusing a friend's playlist on the world of Facebook. Presenting...The Puppini Sisters!
These ladies have a retro sound (think 1940's swing) and apply it to contemporary songs as well as swing era favorites. The album showcases their silky harmonies while keeping a toe-tapping beat. My newest favorite is the cover of Beyonce's "Crazy in Love". They also have a great version of "Walk Like an Egyptian".
