This year marks a big first for me. I attended my very first Dog Birthday Party. My "nephew", Neville Dogbottom (so named for a Harry Potter character) turned one this past weekend. His rightful owners, my brother Nick and my Sister-In-Law Nicole decided to gather the masses and party. Truly this was an excuse to get adults together for a mid-afternoon graze-and-gulp! However, other pups were in attendance. They received a "doggy" bag full of treats and Ice Cream for Dogs while we feasted on delectable cake. I was disappointed that the dogs weren't sporting birthday hats...but maybe next year.

Do realize you were one word short of admitting you are a cat lady?
ReplyDeleteWe celebrated Shooter's b-day a few weeks ago. He promptly was sick from all the doggy cake and ice cream. On the other hand, Tessie was in heaven. I'm sure she's counting down the days until her birthday - May 24 for anyone who is counting along with her!
