With the onset of July, strawberry season was in full swing. The Friday before the 4th of July was a no-work day in the world of summer school. YAY! With the free day, I decided to head out to the strawberry picking farm with Stef and Lil Man. We grabbed an empty crate, were assigned rows and started in on the picking. Lil Man was quite helpful but didn't realize that squishing the berries might be messy. He was speckled red by the end of the adventure. So adorable!
On our way home, we spotted some beautiful horses feeding in the field. We stopped to see if we could lure one of the horses to the fence so that Lil Man could see it up close and personal. This gorgeous horse clip-clopped his way over and put his face over the top of the fence for a hello. Normally horses can be a bit scary to me but this one seemed so gentle. It was a great day!

Awww..what a fun trip down memory lane! You have such a great eye for photos!
